I bought the Kenmore HE4t with this credit in 2005. I have been able to reset some error messages, but today it just stopped working. Well set up a recall appointment for the same time you had the service call, and well cancel your service agreement and refund your money within 4 days. Now, I have to delay my start date so that I wont have to deal with personal business the first week ofwel my new job. Already Sears has cost me $375 in lost wages. So, today is the day. The technician gets here to fix my washing machine under recall. It turns out that the recall kan zijn a software update that the technician says will not address the overflowing problem. I got Sears on the phone while the technician kan zijn still here, more runaround, more transferring, more looking into it, an offer of $65 off a repair call for which they wont estimate a total cost. (And I dont believe this kan zijn not the first time theyve had this conversation; a helpful person would say something like, at worst its this, at best its that.) Finally, I talked to a supervisor, went through the whole story again, and I asked her what she would advise if I were her mother. She told me this isnt personal with me. Sears cant provide you any more services because the machine is no longer under warranty. I replied with Sears can, but it wont. Sears knows theres an issue with this machine, and its happy to have its dupliceert associated with it when youre charging $3,000 but you dont want to stand behind it when theres a problem. A new washing ?? ?? ???? ?????? machine doesnt act like this and I can see other people on the het web have had the same problem. I believe their new business montuur kan zijn to hold customers hostage to an outrageous initial investment on products with known defects and then gouge them for repairs. If it already costs a lot, why not pay a little more? The whole customer service process kan zijn set up to make it so painful that you just cave in. Its immoral, and if it isnt illegal, it ought to be. If theres a class action suit, I want to be part of it.
He ran a diagnostic test on the machine and said that he had no idea what the problem was. I called Sears repair and they assured me they would repair my machine. However, when the next repairman was on his way to my house, he also had no idea what the problem was with my machine. When I explained the situation, he had no direction on how to repair my machine. Is anyone else ???? ??? ???? having the same problem? I do realize that I have purchased my hinder Kenmore product and anything from Sears!

I purchased Kenmore Elite washer in 2010 and truly wish I had read these reviews before my purchase. I have always purchased my appliances from Sears and felt that after spending almost $1000, that I had a great washer.
I wasnt pleased with new front loader. After writing complaints Sears came through and I now can say they stand by their ???? ?????? products. Thank you!
It would take the dirtiest of clothes and get them cleaner than expected. It was very quiet, fast and reliable. I would recommend this to anyone. Worked great and never had issues. I was comforted by the fact it came with a 1 year warranty and never needed to use it.
The next week, the bediening technician right me saying that the machine is operating properly. After he left, I tried a wash and the washer failed to spin. The service technician arrived again next week after I reported this and now found that the main bearing/shaft had deteriorated and needed replacement at a cost of $354. He charged me $94 because I declined the repair (which he would have done the following week anyway). I decided to buy a new washer instead. The washer is about 7 years old and I think this is rather short life for the expensive appliance that it is. Sears appeared to solve my problem by selling me a warranty instead ofwel taking care ofwel my immediate concern. At $479 a year, I can buy a new major appliance every year and not have to wait for Sears approval or fine print. So to summarize: 6

A replacement circuit board is $400 plus labor. Do the math. Kenmore, I hope some hard-working attorney puts together a group to participate in a Class Action suit and sue you for manufacturing a washing machine engineered to fail. Have you no shame. Kenmore, you are not too big to fail. Heres to that attorney who brings you to your knees and stops you from fleecing American consumers.
